January 28 Building Update 040
“Huddle up”
Ok, AR team, I’m back with you for another exciting play-by-play (building update) on the pay-off of that pesky Summers Corner land loan. But, before the next play call, let’s “Huddle up” for some motivational words and inspirational verse. You know things are about to get serious when someone either quotes Abraham Lincoln or the Book of Romans.
I’m going to give it to you straight! We, Ashley Ridge Church, are in the contest of our lives with the For SVL Building Project. The emotional adversaries of anxiety, discouragement and despair would like nothing better than to take us down and make us quit. Are we going to give-in, knuckle under or fold when the going gets tough? HECK NO!!!
The next obstacle we face is raising the last 24K in funds to pay-off the land loan in February. We’re so close! Are we going to let this “brick wall” and others down field stand in our way of having a new Ashley Ridge Church facility for our kids, our students, adults and community? DOUBLE HECK NO!!!
We will NOT stop in our quest to secure a permanent facility for Ashley Ridge Church no matter how long the road or difficult the task! AND, by doing so, secure a future for ALL those that need GOD in the Summerville community (and beyond) for generations to come!
