November 29 Building Update 068
As we get ready to enter into the last month of the year, all eyes are on December 2021! We want Ashley Ridge Church to finish in the strongest possible position, so the building effort can move expeditiously forward in January 2022. SO, we have some work to do!
To finish strong with regards to the building project, we need two very important things to happen before the end of the year: 1) have a signed swap agreement with Lennar on the property next to the ARHS, and 2) accomplish and/or complete our building project financial goals for 2021.
We should be hearing back from Lennar this week on the swap agreement revision so stay tuned! Please see updated numbers below:
Making Comp: $652,604 Needed: $158,871
November (MTD): $37,431 Needed: $12,569
Ashley Ridge Church is within reach of obtaining our 2021 financial goals, but we will need to have our best month ever in December to make it happen! As much as I would like the building project to be a sprint, in actuality, it has been a marathon with each mile having its own set of goals & challenges.
When I find myself becoming a little weary, fatigued or impatient, I often look to scripture for inspiration. Today, that inspiration comes from the Book of Isaiah:
“But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.” -Isaiah 40:31(KJV)
We can be comforted, inspired and reenergized by the scripture verse above and by the fact that we are in this t-o-g-e-t-h-e-r making the new Ashley Ridge Church building & campus a reality one step at a time. It’s like Pastor Jenn has said just recently, “We are going to have a story to tell about how God brought us to this point and built this building, and we really want all of you to be a part of it!”
If you would like to make a contribution to the Building Fund for pre-construction expenses and/or making comp in 2021, you can do so here.
