“Moving Forward”

With the signing of the Cypress Engineering, LLC and Equip Studio contracts, the building project has left the Discovery Stage and entered the Design Stage of the process. Basically, we are in the last stage of design and development before moving into construction!
On August 2-3, Ashley Ridge Church will host the building project principal players for a two-day intensive planning session where the Equip Studio Team will then take the findings and work toward an updated floor plan & site plan. After the Design Stage comes the Delivery Stage where actual construction documents & building plans will be produced necessary for permitting & subsequent vertical construction!
Concurrently, AR is moving forward with an Early Site Package (ESP) by Cypress Engineering, LLC to produce the documents necessary for permitting land preparation. Due to the lead time needed in receiving permit approval (3-4 months) by Dorchester County Planning & Zoning, this step was necessary to preserve the build timeline and a “shovel in the ground” by the end of this year.
On the financial front, Pastor Jenn, Staff and Church Leadership have been busy planning the “Now Here!” Capital Campaign to fund the building project along with bank financing. Be on the lookout for a letter from Jenn next week with lots of important dates and fun activities for our church in August and September.
Ashley Ridge Church is moving forward on all fronts of the building project, and we want everyone to feel a part of the process! Working T-O-G-E-T-H-E-R, we will get this done!
