Small Groups
Nursery - Pre-K
Our classrooms are crafted especially for building the wonder of faith in our infant through preschool-aged children. Our approach is hands-on, high energy, and engaging. Each week we thoughtfully plan music, games, and activities designed to teach our littlest kids that God made them, God loves them, and Jesus wants to be their friend forever.
K-3
Our elementary weekly environments are designed to help kids develop a faith that lasts through wonder, discovery, and passion. Each Sunday, our arKids interact through fun games, engaging music, and interactive lessons with trusted and trained volunteers. By attending any of these environments, your child will build a muscle that allows them to grow in faith and build great friendships.
4th-5th
We intentionally prepare our older children in 4th and 5th grade for the epic transition into middle school as they begin to develop a faith of their own. In Circle 45, we start with the same fun games, worship, and teaching in large group, but we encourage our students by using small group time for deeper discussion and community.

Meet Regan
Welcome to arKids! I'm Regan Sullivan, the Children's Ministry Director at Ashley Ridge Church. I love this community because we unapologetically prioritize the next generation and you'll see evidence of that in every visit. At arKids, we promise to partner with your family to teach kids that Jesus loves them and wants to be their friend forever. Each Sunday you'll find purpose mixed with a lot of fun. We can't wait to meet you!

What are your safety precautions?
All Ashely Ridge Staff and arKids volunteers are trained in "safe sanctuary" practices. This means we are NEVER alone with a child. Every classroom is equipped with two adults and Sundays are staffed with extra hands to be sure we maintain that expectation. We have cameras in all classrooms and all hallways. Our hallway is locked down during both services ensuring only trained, background checked individuals are ever in our children's hallway ensuring optimal safety.
What is your check in procedure?
As families arrive, they use tablets to receive a label printed with their child's name, allergies, classroom assignment, and security code. Parents receive a code that matches their child's name tag. This ensures that ONLY the parent can pick up the child at check out. The family will then continue to their child's classroom where they will check-in with their leader and head to small groups.

What will my child learn?
In arKids, we use biblically based, age appropriate lessons. We partner with the Irresistible Church Network for resources that support our ability to combine lots of fun with biblical truths that will help your child to build a faith that lasts.
Something New Is Taking Root
We’re excited to share that something beautiful is growing at Ashley Ridge Church! arRoots Preschool is coming September 2027!
We hope to be an extension of Sunday as a resource for your family during the week! You will find a faith-based, nature-inspired parents day out program designed to give your children a place to learn, explore, grow, and discover the wonder of God’s creation. Through meaningful play, outdoor exploration, developmentally appropriate learning, and intentional care, arRoots will nurture the whole child while helping little hearts and minds take root in faith. We can’t wait to share more about this new ministry and all that is coming next!
