We believe circles are better than rows. When we move into circles, we get to build relationships on a deeper level, ask questions, explore faith, and show up for each other in significant ways.
We regularly begin new groups while existing groups often make room for new members. We have groups for men, women, couples, and co-ed and more. Most groups are centered around a discussion of the Sunday message or a specific study. Each group time usually includes a biblical discussion, prayer for each other, time to get to know each other and have a bit of fun while doing all that.
Participating in groups is one of the best ways to engage at Ashley Ridge and intentionally grow in your faith.
We believe in celebrating as people take next steps in their walk with God. And you may have heard, there’s no party like an Ashley Ridge Church party! When kids, students, and adults get baptized, we celebrate the gift of new life and grace, and we celebrate bold decisions to claim Jesus as Lord.
Jesus told his followers to go and find the next person and teach them to follow too, and then the next person, and the next person. We believe our best opportunity to grow in our faith and be part of what God is doing in the world is by serving others.
Starting Point, a gathering where your questions about God turn into a conversation about faith!
Starting Point is a 10-week event for those who are new to faith, curious about God, or coming back to church after some time away. It’s a place where your opinions and beliefs are valued, and no question is off-limits.
We all have times when we lose loved ones and the pain of grief can be overwhelming. We discover most people want to show us love and care but don’t really know how and we find ourselves not wanting to be a burden to them. Meanwhile the pain grows and many of us become detached. At Ashley Ridge we care and want you to not just manage the pain, but grow through the loss to find a deep joy.
