September 29 Building Update 023
“Crunching the Numbers II”
The previous “Crunching the Numbers” was Building Update 005 back on May 8th. We have come a long way in the building process since then, so it’s time to crunch the numbers again! The figures below are MTD as of September 28th, or Day 13 of the 40-Day Push to Burn the Note:
Regular Giving $45,702.81
Building Surge $16,083.61 (includes Memorials to Building Fund)
TOTAL $61,786.42
The Building Surge has generated $131,354.49 YTD, and when all the recent contributions have been applied to the land loan (plus regular monthly payments) the pay-off will be approximately 136K. We continue to make huge strides in paying for the 10-acre building site in Summers Corner. The 40-Day Push to Burn the Note is to have the loan completely paid-off on or before Sunday, October 25th. We are getting close to getting this done – TOGETHER!
The original 2020 Surge goal of 400K was broken down into three parts: 1) 280K paying for the land 2) 100K establishing a Reserve Fund and 3) 20K for Concept & Design (architectural fees).
Since the start of the Surge & Stretch fundraising initiative earlier this year, we have been able to fund the Reserve plus pay all architectural design and survey fees to date using cost savings/margin from the Operating Account. Thus, we are only 136K away from not only paying-off the land loan but reaching our 2020 Surge goals as well. I can’t tell you enough how much your generous financial support is appreciated – it is making the dream a reality! Speaking of which:
THIS SUNDAY, OCTOBER 4TH AT 8 PM, WE WILL BE HOSTING A LIVE FAMILY MEETING, COMPLETE WITH THE “BIG REVEAL!” THAT’S RIGHT, YOU WILL BE ABLE TO SEE THE FUTURE ASHLEY RIDGE CHURCH FLOOR PLAN, and the PHASE 1 AND PHASE II MASTERPLAN. YOU DON’T WANT TO MISS THIS EXCITING EVENT!!!
If you would like to make a contribution to the General Fund or Building Surge, you can do so here.
