July 31 Building Update 013
“Unity of Effort”
“Unity of Effort” is the third in the series of summer updates that focuses on financial aspects of the building financing plan – the first two being “Exciting News” and “Summer Surge.” If you have not read these important updates, you can do so by clicking here.
With more exciting news to report, I can now confirm we are in the midst of a summer Surge as contributions have increased significantly in the past few weeks and will likely continue through August and into September. The Building Surge Total YTD has blown past the 90K mark and currently stands at $98,458.83 just shy of six figures. This is up $12,436.83 for the month (as of July 29th). The General Fund has received $54,360.42 MTD and has created $4,360.42 margin so far with 3 days left to go in July.
The Building Surge fund has received 142 contributions YTD with an average $693.37 per contribution as Regular Giving and Building Surge giving are now being leveraged by the sheer numbers of individuals and families participating in the fundraising effort. This has created a “Unity of Effort” among our church family with more and more jumping on board and pulling on the rope!
“Unity of Effort” is exactly what we had been hoping for during the planning process as the large amount of capital needed to support the building project can only be accomplished with widespread congregational participation. Thanks to all of you we are getting it done and moving the For SVL Building Project forward under the most difficult of circumstances and conditions!
“A gift opens the way
and ushers the giver into the presence of the great.”
