October 6 Building Update 025
“Family Meeting Postscript”
Anyone else have trouble going to sleep Sunday night after the Family Meeting? It was a super exciting evening to see all the work done over the past year come to fruition and be able to be shared with everyone. The more the Family Meeting went on, the longer I wanted it to last! It was as if I/we were already there!
I envisioned myself in the new building getting coffee (decaf) at the portable Coffee Bar or sitting in the Lounge catching-up with John Johnson or hanging out in the Lobby before worship chatting with greeters, Sandy, Mark and Ronnie. Once the music started and I could hear James and the band, I headed for the Worship area and sat in the very back soaking it up and absorbing the whole experience in all its many facets of just worshiping GOD – TOGETHER!
If you missed the Live Family Meeting Sunday, don’t panic! You can still view the entire event on the Ashley Ridge Church YouTube page. If you were with us, then you saw the future Ashley Ridge Church facility and grounds laid-out in great detail by Pastor Jenn.
You saw Pastor Jenn describe the Lobby, arLittles wing, arKids wing with washer & dryer, Student large group and small group spaces, Worship area, Administrative area with Lounge and Green Room, Food Truck Pavilion and Outside Worship Green space, Parking Lot and Drop-off areas and so much more. Then, after a 30 minute Q & A where Pastor Jenn and James answered your many questions, it had to come to an end.
It would take me pages and pages to describe all the features and details of the new AR facility and grounds, but luckily for me, James Galloway has been able to put all the Floor Plan, Phase I & Phase II Masterplan graphics from Sunday night in a Dropbox folder which you can access here.
Please go and view all the amazing features and details of the new AR facility and grounds for yourself, and if you should have any questions or comments, please feel free to contact me at: horresjd@gmail.com
