Building Update 100!
“A New Way Forward II”
May 19, 2023
It’s hard to believe we are on Building Update 100! Where has the time gone? In some ways it seems like just yesterday and in some ways it’s been a long, hard road full of twists and turns. But, we are still here and still plugging away. AND, we are NOT going to let you down! Sometimes, I think success depends more on patience and perseverance than anything else!
SO, we (the Building Team) want to say a “BIG” thank you to all of the Ashley Ridge “fam” who have stuck with us through thick and thin. You have been our cheerleaders when things have gone well and offered prayers and support when they haven’t. Your continued support keeps us going and I want y’all to know how much it is appreciated!
I also want to give everyone a quick update on where we are in the Building Project: We have successfully navigated the choppy waters of utility easements, swap deals, closings, etc. to this point – the point where we have laid the necessary logistical foundation for a new permanent “home base.” Only one major obstacle stands in our path – Financing.
As the Building Team seeks to secure a financial path forward for the project, there is one thing we can all do to increase our chances for success, and that is to give to Ashley Ridge Church, thereby increasing the church’s liquidity. Liquidity is just a fancy word for an organization’s ability to convert assets to cash, or acquire cash to pay its short-term liabilities. To receive a loan, a company or organization must have and demonstrate sufficient liquidity to pay its obligations during challenging and turbulent economic times like we are in now with high inflation and interest rates.
SO, if you would like to make a contribution to the Building Fund or General Fund to help us qualify for the Construction Loan, you can give here.
NOTE: Don’t forget, this coming Sunday at 4 pm, we will have Prayer & Pizza on the land where Ashley Ridge Church will build its permanent home base. You are NOT going to want to miss this exciting event in the life of the church!
