Building Update 131 – Milestone Giving

June 26, 2024

Project UpdateI went by the land yesterday afternoon to see how the sitework was progressing, and I am happy to report that the sitework contractor is rock ‘n’ rolling on the land.  The retention pond is being dug, drainage pipe is being laid and the site is being graded to civil engineering specifications.  A LOT of dirt is being moved!!!

It was soooo exciting to see this happening on the land that Ashley Ridge Church has worked so hard and so long to acquire and prepare for this very moment!  And, we owe this all to the goodness & faithfulness of God, and to YOU for your steadfast commitment to the project and continued generosity in giving.

This evening, we will be having a Prayer Service on the land, and all who attend will be able to see the progress being made first hand.  So, please make plans to join us on the land at 7 pm.  You just don’t want to miss this next exciting event!  Remember the Groundbreaking back in March?

NOTE:  It is a little wet on the land with all the rain we have been having so wear a “sturdy” pair of shoes and don’t forget your water bottle!

Financial Report:  Milestone Giving is really the last piece of the financing puzzle that Ashley Ridge has to put in place in order to have a completed project at the end of the construction period.  With each Milestone, of which there are seven, you will have the opportunity to give to the Building Project via the Building Fund

If all goes well, this will ensure a steady stream of funds to eliminate the remaining $1.3MIL funding gap.  Please prayerfully consider what you can give at each Milestone.  We are almost there and the light is at the end of the tunnel!

NOTE:  Milestone Giving contributions go to the Building Fund and are in addition to your Regular Giving and/or NHCC Commitment.

If you would like to make a contribution to Milestone #2 – Sitework & Utilities via the Building Fund, you can do so on Sunday during worship, at the Prayer Service this evening or on-line via the church website:
